Welcome

From the Commander Defence Training Estate Wales and West

On behalf of the Defence Training Estate, I am pleased to welcome walkers, horse riders and cyclists to the Epynt Way. Our award winning permissive bridle path encircling the Sennybridge Training Area is designed to allow safe access to the Epynt in conjunction with vital military training. The development of the path was a jointly funded project made possible by the active participation of many individuals and organisations.

The route has been carefully chosen to offer a variety of terrain and scenery whilst ensuring that military training and other activities can be carried out safely alongside it. I hope that you enjoy using the path and would merely ask that you observe any restrictions that are placed for safety reasons. We also put considerable effort into the conservation of the unique Epynt environment and ask that you contribute to this by respecting that environment.

For safety, please always keep to the way marked path and keep an eye out for any military activity in its proximity being aware that there may be loud noises associated with it. You may see articles of a military nature whilst using the Epynt Way and I ask that you do not touch them.

However, most of all enjoy the wonderful scenery of the Epynt and make the most of your visit.

Please note that camping is not permitted on MoD land.
